No wonder that Christina is a professional in the gambling and betting business, her experience goes back more than 25 years. She started in early dotcom times, and since that she had developed skills and bits of knowledge in different internet and mobile spheres. She dedicated her career to the iGaming, contributed much to web sports betting and casino operating. In such world-known brands like William Hill and Virgin, she holds the prior manager positions in multiple business spheres, mainly in functioning, managing and collaborating with teams including products, law regulations, channels, customers, trading, protection from money laundering, etc.

Currently, Christina basically works with start-ups and innovators of this huge business, she researches more blockchain opportunities, VR novelties, and esports progress. Besides, she is highly concerned about punters information protection and developing relationships with law regulators.

There are two main questions about SPiCE 2019: what it should be and what the purposes. Christina believes that this conference will give India many opportunities in commercial, political and economic development. This event will set the safe foundation for the constructive conversation between society and regulators in order to resolve various problems in the country related to illegal gambling, cybercrimes, problems with addiction and so on.

She considers that the Indian market could be potentially the largest market in the world among new and emerging ones. Eventus provides the opportunity to look at the core players in the industry and understand the problems and risks which will be in case India has clear and fair regulation. Since India has a huge background now in tech and innovations evolution, especially in AI, it would very interesting to see how the market takes a piece of a pie of the global gaming services and products in the upcoming decades.

SPiCE 2019 will be arranged in Goa so go to meet Christina Thakor-Rankin there. More information about the summit registration is revealed below.
